But I'll add that all of my and DH's family lives nearby, so it would never be a situation like Looch mentioned where they were missing other holidays with them.</p> <p>This does sound like something my DH's sister and mom would like. But then again, MIL thinks someone should throw her a grandma shower since SIL and I are both having our second babies in the fall, and was also quite upset that I would not participate in a sprinkle (that IMO was more of a full-fledged baby shower from her description of it) for my second baby boy in a year and a half. She is all about finding any reason for a gift-giving party.
