He thought substituting fruit would help but no - he started feeling really dizzy and tingly every time he ate, on top of his horrible GI issues. So he finally made an appointment to see his doctor (one of the things that was frustrating me before was that he refused to go to the doctor). </p> <p>Since his sister has celiac, I got him to cut out all gluten and really cut down on all forms of sugar, and he says he's feeling so much better. They took blood at the appointment to test his blood sugar and for celiac so he'll finally get some answers! Hopefully the brief hiatus from gluten won't mess things up too much. I'm just so relieved that he finally listened! (Though not excited about a gluten-free, lactose free, peanut/tree nut-free household) </p>
