Mrs Jump Rope blogged about Monster Mix (can't remember the name)

Could you get little toy (whistle, car, ball, etc)?

@looch: True. I didn't think of that. Perhaps there is another goody you could do. :)

What about where you take plastic gloves (uncoated) and put a piece of candy corn in each finger tip and then fill with popcorn?

They aren't candy but at walmart I found these little packages that had crayons, a small coloring book and stickers. That is what we are giving out for trick or treating (and my sons candy after he goes out.

What about raisins? You could also do yogurt drops (look like chocolate chips, but are really yogurt). And I love these...they're really yummy!

ETA: also, freeze dried fruit? Banana chips are really yummy, and I know they make freeze dried blueberries as well!

Any ideas for healthy "candy" bags for my 17 month olds daycare class? Candy bags was the only thing left on the sign up sheet that included: mini cupcakes, cheese puffs, cheese sticks and chips.

I am by no means a health nut, and don't really mind giving my kiddo sweets, in moderation. But, I don't see how toddlers need a bag of candy.

My first thought was goldfish, and I would like to put a few more things in the bags.
