@nutmeg36: real mom questions, haha.

Though I have been a bit impressed with how honest the show has been with detailed about pregnancy/labor/BFing.

I love this show. @nutmeg36: I was just thinking that too! How will Emily feed the baby? Judging from her look at the end when she made her decision, I think it's not all about Hannah - I think she wants revenge. She wants to take down Fred. I'm looking forward to the next season. (Oh, and what will happen without Aunt Lydia?? So many questions!)

Can I just say, I was SO CONFUSED as to why she left the baby with Emily! I mean, I understand wanting to save Hannah. I am on board with trying to save Hannah. BUT (as if I am talking to June):

1) Put the oxygen mask on yourself before you put it on your kid. You can do SO MUCH MORE from the outside in this situation than you can from the inside.
2) You've already tried to escape UNSUCCESSFULLY. You don't *know* that they are going to make it. You are basically choosing to not know what's happening with either of your kids, instead of KNOWING one is safe and working to save the other.
3) EMILY CANNOT FEED THE BABY JUNE. YOU ARE BREASTFEEDING. How are they going to be sneaky with a screaming hungry newborn? You very well may have just killed Emily.

@Amorini: agreed, Serena is such an interesting character to me. It must be so hard to play her, and the actress does it flawlessly.

@Amorini: I think after season 1 they were done with the novel.

@erinbaderin: That’s what I was thinking! We haven’t seen how the rebellion is really operating so I thought that it might be a lead-in to that.

But after Season 3, that’s it, right? I don’t think there can be more story... The trouble is that Atwood’s novel leaves it up to interpretation if June escapes or not. Season 2 was definitely off script but what if they try to tie it back into the novel?! I can’t imagine them ending it that way!

Those last 8 minutes or whatever of the escape sequence had me so totally stressed out that I could hardly watch! I agree, I was bummed that she stayed but I am more glad that the baby and Emily got out. If she had gotten in the getaway car in the closing seconds of the season finale, I think that they would have been caught at the beginning of Season 3, so that there’s more story to tell. That would have made me really bummed. That baby needs outta there.

I really want to see Serena and maybe some of the Wives join the rebellion. Does anyone think that will happen? Anyone have any Season 3 predictions?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: She did say Nicole - I actually hated that part! This woman held her down while she was raped (and, really, orchestrated it to punish her) a few weeks/months ago and now she respects her...why?

It made me angry that she didn’t leave. I get that she has Hannah but I think she’d be in a better position to help her from outside. She’s not in immediate danger.

Listen you never give up on your children! Made total sense to me that in order to save Hannah she would have to stay in Gideon.

Serena saying goodbye to Holly/ Nicole was so hard to watch. I kept thinking she was going to take the baby and run. I missed it, what did she tell Emily to call her again? If it was Nicole that just shows the level of respect June gained for Serena.

@CatchAFallingStar: same. I thought the finale was really chaotic, and several events felt rushed and thus unbelievable. I read two articles reviewing the episode and they both felt that June's final decision was necessary to keep the series going, but I think no, the show could have continued if she went with Holly.

I love show but it does seriously stress me out. It's the combination of how it plays as horror, plus the feeling that this could be a reality we're moving towards if we're not careful. I spend all episode dreading what awful thing is going to happen. But I just can't look away either, lol.

I’m all caught up and just blown away. Going into the second season I was skeptical it would turn into something campy like TWD, but it’s still oh so good. My favorite part about this season is learning more about how society got to where it is. Some people drank the kool-aid and others are just trying to hide in plain sight to survive.

It is so dramatic! I was kind of preparing myself for it to disappoint considering that the book ended where season 1 did, and I sort of felt when I was watching s2e1 that they might be laying it on a bit thick. But I just finished watching e3 and I'll probably keep watching anyway!
