Yup! Started in 2nd tri...I'd wake up to dead limbs, and then pins and needles!! Ugh. I know in 3rd trimester they say not to cross legs because it lessens the blood flow...so I always try to keep my limbs loose? Or not restricted? Lol

My feet/lower legs fall asleep all the time. It only started happening in the past few weeks after a HUGE baby growth spurt.

It could be pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. My hands fall asleep every night while I'm sleeping. It's so annoying!

@MaisyMay: I would definitely mention it to your OB - just to be sure it is not indicative of any problems.

@MsLipGloss: The funny thing is that I'm not swollen! I've on had my feet swell once and that was after 6+ hours of driving and a pretty swift elevation change. Hmmm.....

I feel like it happens more now because I am so swollen all the time, especially in my feet and lower legs. I get a lot of ghost sensations, too, like it will feel like something is on my leg when there is nothing there.

Do any of you deal with the feeling of your limbs being asleep? I get that tingly feeling multiple times a day, sometimes it will be a hand, or a leg, sometimes other parts. I move around to increase the circulation.
Is this just another joyful part of pregnancy?
