My arms and hands kept falling asleep last night while I was asleep and it kept waking me up! Drives me nuts. I figured it was because I have to sleep on my sides now - no fun! :meh:

Mine started around the 4th of july and was just during the night at first, pins and needles and now it lingers through the day. Noticed my hands are starting to get sore too and I'm 28 weeks today :bummed:

Yessss... this has been driving me crazy lately! And it's totally unpredictable - every now and then, my pinkie and ring finger just go completely numb before tingling back to life.

My hands always fell asleep in my first pregnancy! Especially towards the end. I'm 27 weeks with my second and it hasn't started yet. I noticed it most in the middle of the night and when I woke up.

Carpal tunnel in my hands was one of my least fave pregnancy symptoms - that's what it sounds like.

It happens to my hands more often than my feet. This is my first pregnancy and I'm 14 weeks. Glad to see that it's common among many of us and that I'm not being crazy that it happens to me a lot.

Yep. My arms fell asleep a lot while sleeping due to poor circulation. Chiropractic care, massage, drinking lots of water and magnesium powder helped but it was no fun at the last couple months of pregnancy. I'm starting to have it again and need to get back on top of it.

That was the start of my carpal tunnel/swelling issues... Started in my hands overnight and progressively got worse. :/

It happened a lot for me, and unfortunately, it still does even though I am nearly 21 months pp.

With LO1, I used to get this all the time. I still do occasionally now with LO2, but not nearly as bad. I don't know if it's due to the extra blood circulating or what the deal is, but it's tough once it starts. It used to be the reason I got no sleep when I was pregnant with LO1!

I have found that no matter what, my hands and/or feet randomly fall asleep and I get pins and needles.

is this common? I'm sitting watching tv, my legs are not crossed and bam my foot/leg are asleep. So frustrating! I find I wake up in the night a lot because my hand or arm has done the same thing.
