Sometimes just by changing up the phrase, "Can you help me by putting on your shirt" is received better compared to "Can you please put on this shirt." I'm still reading through it. The "Fast Food Rule" is really good. It helps to understand that toddlers are little cavemen. They're learning to communicate in the world. Karp gives some good strategies on how to talk to a toddler and have wins with both parents. Do you recommend? We used Happiest Baby stuff when she was an infant and had success. At 15 mo, she's started with mini-tantrums and hitting, so we're trying to figure out how to deal with them. </p>
