I purchased 2 bottles of fancy flavored olive oil, smoked sea salt for dipping, and a loaf of bread from Panera to go with. I signed up for coffee cake so the girls and I baked coffee cake muffins. I'm amazed we did that, made dinner, did bath, all on a solo night! :shocked: </p> <p>Friday is gift day and I'm putting together a movie night bucket. Redbox rental code, bag of microwave popcorn, their favorite candy bar (I asked), a target GC, and a handmade cArd. I plan to do a questionnaire with my 4 yo about why she loves her teachers. And a note from me for DD2's teachers. For my kids' teachers, I gave them all cards with $10 inside (except my son's lead teacher because I found a cup I knew she'd love). The kids wore their teacher's favorite color to school and were supposed to draw a picture or write a thank you note. We found a printable on Pinterest where LO could write some stuff and draw a picture </p> <p>Wednesday - teacher brunch. All the classrooms bring a brunch item for the teachers to enjoy (school distributed a list). Pre-k is doing coffee, tea and juices </p> <p>Thursday - favorite things. We made little gift bags filled with their favorite treats and some small gift items (coffee tumbler)</p> <p>Friday - teacher lunch. The school treats the teachers to a lunch and afternoon off while prentice volunteers and the school director do a movie day with the kids. THey all know her by name and acknowledge her. This includes music teacher, art teacher, two PE teachers, librarian, janitor, counselor, her favorite teacher in the next grade up and the principal and assistant principal. And of course her teacher and the teaching assistant. We didn't gift them EVERY day, but did share the love with the starburst and the pen flowers because it was easy enough to do. We made pen flowers for the teachers and Dove chocolate flowers for main teachers.</p> <p>Tomorrow is paper/pen supplies. I haven't figured out the daycare yet, but the elementary teachers are getting dry erase markers. </p> <p>Thursday is hands down ... we are doing hand sanitizer.</p> <p>Friday is a JAR of fun. We filled up mason jars with M&amp;M's. I have a poem that goes with it. This is also the day that I do my personal note to the teacher. Our elementary teachers are also getting bracelets. Yesterday all the kids were asked to write a note and bring a flower from their garden (or wherever). Today I sent in some cute office supplies and wrote a card to the teacher. The last thing I have planned is a mid-day snack that I'll send later this week. All the other teachers like GT, music, are getting flowers or a gift card.
