This to me was one of the most exciting parts of the process. Home study was nerve-wracking to be sure, but it was so much fun to take the time and be introspective about our relationship and our family. You've read my home study blog post?</p> <p>You are going to have children in your home before you know it. And yeah, I might had a heart attack if my first placement was a sib set of four! We are finishing up the background checks and documents in September and will have the social worker come to our home in early October. We are very excited to be working through this part of the process! At our meeting, we were asked to consider some children currently in need. I wonder if they are similar to MAPP training. We are working our way through the paperwork and our foster/adopt classes start this week. Yay! Just a sweet coincidence, our meeting was held in the same room we were married in on the day before our 5th anniversary. Not sure I believe in this but it might appear as if the universe is speaking to us. :0) </p>
