@kjpugs: will she use a straw cup? Took me awhile to figure out DD liked a specific straw type (regular disposable or hard plastic that can be taken out of the cup). Once we figured that out she started drinking milk so much better.

What about these vital baby ones? I know it says soft spout, but ours is more like a hard spout covered in a thick silicone (not like the soft spout you have). There are a few versions with handles. http://www.vitalbabyusa.com/types/bpa-free-sippy-cups.html

@kjpugs: we have never had trouble with out OXO cups. They came out with new flow restrictions pieces. My boys throw their cups all the time! Never once had an issue. Hope you find something soon. We moved to more of a travel cup top because our OT and Speech therapist don't want my kids on a spouted sippy cup anymore.

Basically we are screwed or I have to spend $20 a sippy cup!!!!!!

We got these at BBB a few days ago and so far they seem pretty good. I like that they're no-spill but they seem a little easier for DS than some others we've tried. They also don't have a million parts like some cups.

@pmerr: we use contigo now for outings but she won't drink milk out of it. I use a contigo daily so I love them! But also I hate cleaning them, especially hers. I've found so much mold in that cap that I rarely use it for her anymore. And it's impossible to clean well.

@pmerr: @MrsRcCar: we use those exact oxo ones in the AM for juice but i hate them. I hate that the handles come off and never sit right, and I also HATE their nozzle thing (the plastic piece that restricts flow, what is it called again?) If she throws the cup or it falls, then that thing falls right out and it's a free for all juice everywhere.

We use Oxo & Contigo. I love them both, although I love contigo since they are autoseal. I couldn't guarantee that the Oxo ones wouldn't leak, especially if you don't have the stopper in.

Foogo makes a hard spout sippy cup with handles and leak proof. We have their stainless steel one and plastic one. I prefer the stainless steel one when we go out as it keeps things colder longer. DS likes it. We also use a Tommee Tippee one that's leakproof.

@2PeasinaPod: do you have a link? I was hoping to exchange at BBB but didn't see any playtex ones?

LO uses the Playtex sippies. We've never really had much of an issue with them leaking unless my dad forgets to put the valves in the inside!

We've used Nuby sippies for milk since we got rid of bottles after LO's first birthday. She drinks juice/water from other sippy-style cups or straw cups but this style (short, with handles) is the only thing that she'll drink a full cup of milk out of. Over the last month or two she's destroyed the nuby spouts by chewing them, expanding the slits that the milk comes through and they leak EVERYWHERE. I've bought replacement spouts and used almost all of them (at $2 each they're almost as pricey as the cups!) I decided to try some hard spout ones (penguin Avent ones) but they leak where the cup and cap screw to one another- when she holds it sideways or upside down or lays it down, tons of milk leaks out down the sides when it's set right side up. I really need to find another one that is this shape, but has a hard spout and WILL NOT LEAK! UGH!!!!! Anyone have any tried-and-true suggestions?
