@yoursilverlining: Yeah, I wish I could find a brand like that. However, that one has gelatin ... I have to find vegan brands. My vegan prenatal is awesome ... but tastes like tea for the 2 seconds it's on my tongue.

@JerricaBenton: My friend suggested that too! I'm going to have to try it. This gagging thing is a bit much, ha.

I took this brand and had no trouble with it - no fishy taste and the pills didn't make me gag.

Put them in the freezer. They don't smell/taste like much when they are super cold and they are a bit heavier and sink down in your stomach faster so less of a chance of burping them up. I think it's actually better for absorption too!

Uhhh i haven't even taken mine since I got pregnant. I also have the Nordic Naturals ones, but mine are lemon flavored. I just gave up on taking them.

I switched to taking mine right before I crawl into bed at night, so if they make me feel bad or if I can taste it later, at least I'm asleep! I never had a problem with vitamins until I started taking prenatals with DHA. Don't know if yours are OTC or prescription, but I had a reeeally hard time with the prescription ones! The Target brand is so much milder. Also I eat a snack before bed every night (usually a small bowl of cereal) so I'm not taking them on an empty stomach.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has a hard time taking fish oil?!?! I'm a vegetarian, so my 'fish oil' is actually derived from algea (but that's what fish eat to smell fishy, so it all tastes the same). My daily prenatal & DHA/EPA (the fishy ones) are both vegan, so I figured they'd be okay. I find myself gagging & almost throwing up every time I take the stupid 'fish oil'. My friend told me her midwife suggests taking 3 at a time during pregnancy. I know I'm a prime candidate for morning sickness, so I am terrified of these pills! Is there anything you did to keep that taste from making you gag?
