I thankfully have a longer leave this time, but I'm afraid DD will take me leaving a lot harder. DS was a very easy baby and took a bottle, so by the time I went back to the office I'd been away from him a bunch of times. I think the major difference has been having a winter baby last time and feeling stir crazy whereas having a summer baby this time I've been out and about and doing a lot with my time w the kids and feel like me already! With my 2nd I got bored and found part time employment with flexible scheduling when LO was around 6 or 7 months. I love the dynamic of being a WAHM. My son goes to preschool full time. I am dreading it so much more than after DD1. I'm not sure if it is a combination of not really having a normal "maternity leave," having to put DD1 in full time daycare, having DD2 be only 12 weeks when going to daycare (DD1 didn't go to daycare until 6 months), or what but I don't like it and I feel really sad anxious.</p> <p>How did you feel returning to work for kids 2, 3, etc.? </p>
