Gah! Yes, same as everyone. Every evening while I try to cook, someone is crying, or needs help, or decides to poop. It's so, SO exhausting!

@regberadaisy: I've tried waiting to eat, but I've noticed my milk doesn't keep the baby as full so I give myself more work in the form of extra feedings.

YES. Solo parenting at dinner and bedtime just does not get easier...I'm so frazzled by the end of the night. I have to keep 2 kids entertained while one bathes, then two more baths, reading (B has to read 20 minutes each night for school) and the kids are always tired, whiny and uncooperative by that time.

Same. Dd2 ideally wants to be asleep by 7. But it's just not possible when dinner is at 6pm. On the days I run solo I move DD 1 bedtime up to 730 and that's about 30 minutes too early for her. But otherwise baby sister will be extremely over overtired.

Most nights baby sister is crying through me making dinner and I don't eat till both go down.

What do you feel is the hardest time of day with your kids?

Right now, it feels most difficult around dinner/bedtime, especially when I'm solo. It feels like they both need me at the same time, they are both hungry, tired, I'm tired, and we have to get them and dinner cleaned up and in bed. Phew, I tired myself out just thinking about it!
