I don't know if they have any success but worst case scenario you wasted an hour. I would think asking around at any classes your lo is in or at the library might lead you to someone even if the person you are chatting with isn't interested they might know someone and it is an easy enough idea to bring up in conversation. LO has a standing swap with two other kids every Tuesday. They go do a different house every Tuesday for 3 hours. Host provides lunch. So, it's kind of like a buy 1/get 2 free kind of deal :). I also swap with friends for any appointments I might have. It's really ideal! Basically, you find a mom in your area who has similar parenting philosophies/etc and similar goals, and if you both work part-time but different days, you swap looking after each others children- so no money is exchanged. </p> <p>Ideally I would like to work part-time after LO#2, but 2 in daycare would be tight and right now we cannot afford for me to be a SAHM, plus I would like to work at least a little bit. </p>
