<description>&#60;p&#62;DH has been on the Keto diet since October 2015, and he's lost about 40 lbs. It took him about 7 months to lose the weight, and he's currently maintaining. One side note... his weight loss is just diet only. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I follow a low carb diet, and it helps me maintain my weight. Not as strict as keto, and I still get to enjoy the foods I like.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I've done it several times in my life, most recently in January for 5 weeks straight, not one cheat.  HOWEVER, I didn't realize that I apparently have an autoimmune disease (just found out after exhaustive testing), and my January keto cycle was a total, utter fail.  Probably because my body is out of wack.  I have the keto strips at home, so I know I was in ketosis, but in the first 4 weeks of following it, I only lost 2 lbs (frustrating!), and I felt sick AF.  Since basically, I was eating meats, salad vegetables, things like broccoli in limited supply, and a ton of sugar-free dairy like cheese, I was just feeling sick to my stomach, sluggish, constipated, the works.  It is also *way harder* to do any kind of aerobic exercise when you are doing keto, and I get dizzy easily, get exhausted quickly, etc.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It has worked for me in the past to lose a quick 10 lbs, but it isn't working for my body these days.  So now I'm trying Whole30 which is more healthy foods and not just focused on losing weight.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I was doing a  keto diet until I got pregnant last September. I still try to eat fairly low carb now, though. I love it. I do think that when you're new to it, you may experience the &#34;keto flu&#34; where you feel sluggish and out of sorts for a few days. But after that, it's pretty amazing. So much more energy, I sleep better, I don't have cravings, etc.  I could go on and on...

<description>&#60;p&#62;A friend started a group on FB that I joined.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I don't need to lose lbs but I would like to lose a few inches and I feel like I am bloated all the time!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I started Monday and its HARD for me to do - I didn't realize how many things have carbs.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I also really miss big bowls of fruit and oatmeal.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am working out and it was ok until yesterday - I barely had any energy - today I had 1/2 a banana and hoping that helps with energy for my workout.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am only doing this for 2 weeks then I go on vacation and well... all bets are off - haha&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What has been  your experience with it?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Note: Its been 3 full days and I will say my stomach was much flatter at bedtime last night - usually by the end of the day its bloated - so that's a plus!
