I'd like to have the pastor who baptized us and dedicated our kids renew our vows one day, our 20th maybe - since our "wedding" was just a quickie at city hall on a Tuesday morning. I originally wanted to renew vows at an "anniversary" party so that we could finally celebrate with extended family and friends. But I think we will for sure do it for our 20 year. I think they are really sweet. Not a production (well maybe for like 20 years or something), but more like an elopement renewal (like we're talked about just the two of us at Niagara Falls, things like that). </p> <p>Our 5 year anniversary is in a few weeks, and I had been starting to loosely plan it when I found out I was pregnant (I'll be 29-30 week) and that my best friend is getting married a few weeks after that (I'm walking her down the aisle). Like packages starting at $400, etc. Hawaiian Eye run by Mike and Leah Noble gets good reviews from people who've done it. It's just something you can tack on to a regular vacation. I would imagine something like a limo service to dinner, pictures, vows/ceremony logistics would be easier to handle without a language barrier but then again I know the all inclusives in Mexico and Carribean do a good job doing weddings too. They came up at the end to renew their vows and for a blessing by the priest and we all applauded for them.
