I wanted to jump across that desk and strangle him. What a jerk!</p> <p>It blows my mind that adults don't have the common sense not to ask. I now teach middle school and am noticeably pregnant. My students could tell but were still too embarrassed to ask me. One day, another teacher asked me a baby question and all of my students were like, "Finally! A few times. I was not overweight before getting pregnant but it's like everyone was on baby-watch. Like in the tabloids when they show a picture of a celeb wearing some unflattering outfit and say she's clearly 'showing'. Also just like anyone I would go up and down in weight a little, or eat a big meal and be bloated. So I've been asked 3 or 4 times over the last few years if I'm pregnant or when I was due. It usually happened at work, too.
