I'm 35 and we've been ttc for about a year. I had a m/c in Sept. and have been trying since--using Fertility Friend, temp'ing, using OPKs, etc. I ovulate on the 14th like clockwork but because of my age, I wanted to get a little more aggressive. My Dr put me on 50 mg of Clomid days 5-9 this cycle, which I read dries things up, so I took Mucinex days 12-16. I noticed a wicked increase in cm on 5-9DPO. I can't imagine the Mucinex is stil in my system but I took a hpt on 8, 9 and 11DPO (today) and they were all bfn. I've read that the increase could equally be an early pregnancy sign and a sign that AF is coming.
