@emg86: I'm not sure about nap training either :( I'm just trying to ride it out right now. Today was better. I got an hour long nap from her this morning, then 35 mins, then 50 mins. I'll take it!!

We just started experiencing this. He used to be a pretty decent napper - 2 or 3 naps a day for at least an hour (if I held him). Now it takes me an hour to get him to take a 20 minute nap. By 5pm he's a mess and so am I!

@sslm: Yeah, J sleeps through the night so I keep saying...well at least she sleeps...but I am SO tired during the day and know she is too. I've thought about nap training but don't know if can really do it :-(

And I get the whole being by yourself all day thing too. My husband comes home just in time to help with bath time and sees her 1.5-2 hours max a day :-(

@emg86: she sleeps so wonderfully at night that I feel a bit bad complaining about naps. But the days are SO long. She's up around 7:45 and goes to bed around 8, and my husband is only home for 2 hours of that. And M needs to be entertained all the time, it's exhausting. Yesterday she refused to nap pretty much at all. She took a 45 min nap finally around 12:30, and then crashed for 30 mins at 5. I truly hope this is a phase!!!! Sorry things haven't gotten any better for you :(

@sslm: Not really. She's been taking one morning nap, which is 1-1.5 hours and that's it. If I'm lucky she takes a 20-30 minute nap around 3 and that's if I have my boob out and next to her face. I've tried carrying her but that doesn't help much. So by the time it's 5/6pm she's losing it. You're not a shitty mom! At least you know you aren't alone  I know that 4 months comes along with a huge growth spurt...according to Wonder Weeks it basically lasts all month, lol...great. She does sleep at night though, thank goodness (knock on wood!). How does M sleep at night?

I have read that the four month regression, or any regression, can be for naps instead of nights. Hope naps return soon! :/

So my 3.5 month old has pretty much stopped napping. I noticed it a few days ago...if she sleeps it's 20 minutes at the most. She used to have 2-3 long naps a day and then would go to bed at 8:30 and sttn. Today she woke up at 8 and although she's been giving me sleep cues since 1030...she JUST fell asleep (it's 4pm). Are her naps ever going to return??? Is this when they transition to 2 naps a day? Will I ever get anything done again?! LOL.
