I got it done in 2006, my eyes got really sensitive to my contacts so I wasn't going to really be able to wear them anymore. I just wasn't a glasses girl so I bit the bullet and got them lasered. Many years and a pregnancy later they are super awesome - many times I can read things on the projector screen at work that no one else can read. So I think that means they are still super awesome! It did effect her night vision though - she avoids driving at night because she sees star bursts with every point of light. </p> <p>I hate my glasses (haven't worn them in months) and I misuse my contacts (as in, sometimes don't take them out for weeks - horrible I know!) so I really should get it. He's only had to have 1 correction and that was like within 6 months of the original "surgery" other than that his vision is perfect and he didn't wait till 27. It made traveling so much easier and I loved waking up to perfect eyesight every day and shaving 5-10 min off my morning and night routines. The procedure took less than 5 min on each eye and I was able to go back to work the next day!</p> <p>BUT, I wish I waited to get it until AFTER I had kids because my eyesight started getting worse again after my first pregnancy.
