I did this about a year or so ago before my wedding and had 6 sessions. They hurt, I will not lie. The underarms definitely were painful but they were small areas so it was bearable. The bikini line wasn't that bad but as the tech went lower and more "in", that really hurt. I too was nervous about re-growth with pregnancy but I just delivered my LO 15 days ago and can honestly say the pregnancy did not impact my hair growth.

Overall I am happy with the results and will probably get a few more sessions at some point. Even without those sessions though, it is so much easier to maintain. I shave my armpits and bikini area maybe once a month. Whatever hair I do get is very fine and thin.

I seriously considered it a little while ago, but then I read that the hair frequently comes back during pregnancy, with all the crazy hormones, so I decided I would wait until I was done having babies to consider it. I don't think I'm that ideal of a candidate anyway, since my hair is pretty fine and not super dark.

I've had my underarms, upper and lower legs, and down there (front and back) done. I did 6 sessions for all the areas, but I'm thinking I need another 2. The amount of hair regrowth has significantly decreased (I used to have to shave every day - ugh), and the thickness is also much finer. The underarms hurt the most.

I want to get this done so badly for my armpits and down there! My BFF had it done and she said it was well worth it, she didn't finish because her last session hurt so bad, but even still after 3 sessions she says that her hair has never come back the way that it was before. (She's krn and got the hairy gene from her dad)

Laser hair removal is the best money I have ever spent. I would get terrible ingrown hairs from waxing my bikini line, so I would not look forward to bathing suit season.

I've had 6 sessions so far, I started last October. My technician is awesome, she requires you to come in for a consultation and a test to see if the laser would work for you. She also charges by the "shot" not the time, so she is really thorough and does a little bit extra as she sees the regrowth. LOVE HER.

I had it done about 4 times, and it wasn't really bad at all. I was having "there" done and my armpits. But then I lost track of it once we got all caught up in chemical pregnancies and loads of ttc stress. Although I notice a considerable difference, I wish I would have finished before I got preg, because it's a lot of work to maintain legs AND the whole vajay area while preg:) And I'm not the type of person who can just let it go, so basically now I have to fight it my whole pregnancy and kick myself for not completing the 3 or 4 more sessions it would have taken.

ETA: The most uncomfortable part is that a stranger, not your husband, is ALL UP IN your junk! The thing that got me is that they even go past your VJ and get up in your rear end too....It made me blush the first couple of times, but then I got used to it. Which sounds weird but I guess it didn't shock me anymore:)

I used numbing cream (prescription strength) and got through it fine. I paid by session and had 6 sessions. But then, about 8 months later it started to get LIGHTLY fuzzy and I freaked. So, I went back and got 2 more sessions. That was almost 2 years ago. I haven't had a hair since. I think it is the best thing i've ever done for myself!

I had it done on my bikini line. The numbing stuff & ice helped it to be more comfortable. I only did 3 sessions because I bought a groupon for 3, but I need to do at least another 3. It decreased the amount of hair, but a lot of it has come back. Maybe if I had done 6 on a perfect schedule it would have worked better. I'm considered an ideal candidate though, I have super fair skin & very dark hair, so I had hopes of better results. I also wish I had done it before getting a tattoo near there, they have to cover it & be super careful because the laser could mess it up, but I have hair where the tattoo is so it would be nice to be able to remove it.

I am generally a pretty hairless person ( I don't shave at all), but I am getting hairier as I get older. Since we've been going to the pool a lot lately, I've been thinking how awesome it would be to get laser hair removal down there and under my arms.

I had one session done on my underarms, and it hurt, but it wasn't that bad. I'd definitely endure any pain not to have to worry about hair anymore for the rest of my life (although I've heard it grows back for some people?).

Have you done it? Was it painful? Was it worth it?
