We moved (bought and sold) after owning our first home for just over a year. We were advised by our bank (aka one of our best friends who got us a great deal on our mortgage) that it would not be in our interest to "bridge" our mortgage. Instead, he advised us to close both deals on the same day. It was a nightmare to organize but well worth it in the end.</p> <p>Not sure if this helps... I hope it does!
