They are 9 months apart. With the 18 month old you could always just start and see what he thinks of it. For me personally, I have twins and I think I want to try to train them totally separately when the time comes because my brain breaks trying to conceive of doing them simultaneously. Keep in mind that they're around 40 now. They are about 18 months difference in age. My older brother was stubborn and didn't want to do it and the younger one was like why didn't you tell me what you wanted me to do that? So I think it's possible depending on their personality. He is intrigued by underwear and has asked for pull ups because his friends at school wear them. BUT he refuses to pee in the potty even though we sit on it every night. We read all the potty books and watch the Daniel Tiger episode and he's all agreeable until it's actually time to go. She has already peed in the potty more than he has, but I think she's a few months from ready. Maybe just do them together? Is that crazy? If anyone has done this I would love to hear your experience and tips!! </p>
