With DD went in on the night of the 9th and she was born wee hours of tge 11th. Just keep in mind that inductions can take up to a few days sometimes so baby still may not be born on sad date. I have known all along that I would go late just because of family history and sure enough I am already 4 days past my due date and they will let me go two weeks. The disappointing thing is that unless I have the world's longest induction the baby would be born the day before my late father's birthday. I have had it in my mind all along that the silver lining to needing an induction was at least they would share that day but I found out Monday that my induction date would be one day earlier than I thought.</p> <p>So if things still look favorable do you think I can get away with begging to push it back by one day? NSTs and ultrasounds would be involved which is totally fine. I know it's sort of silly but I really really don't want to be induced and that was the only thing making it OK in my mind. (For the record- my mom was close to four weeks late with me and then was induced at two weeks past her due date with her 4th, all 4 of us were late.) </p>
