Delta, American and United will all allow pets as excess baggage. Just trying to find a place that wont cost us an arm and a leg. Seems $1500 is about the going rate for 2 cats. </p> <p>@lemondrop: Thankfully, the military has eased that process a bit. They are both turning 1 this summer, so they will already be up to date on shots. I don't remember the particulars but he was in the cargo of the plane. Lots of red tape as well to go through. But not sure if that was bc the dog was from Turkey?</p> <p>He got help from the head of a local SPCA chapter.
