She turns 4 and the following week will be starting a full time pre-K program at our public school including after school care. So she will leave her daycare completely and be at the public school from 7:30 - 6:00. The 5 year old was a little sad to be leaving his old friends but the new center is wonderful and they both love it. I was really anxious for our first day there but they both were 100% fine. I didn't think it would go well since he doesn't do well with change but surprisingly he did great!!</p> <p>I did bring him by 2 times to check it out and see the toys and meet his teacher. The one we are moving her to is near my work so she *could* go there any time. Only problem is they have a giant wait list and we can't get her in until next year (when she is 4). Any tips for the transition at age 4 to a new center? </p>
