Looking at you orange, red, brown, grey...). I think the hard part is that clothing is really gender specific for the most part, so you really have to look for gender neutral pieces. I think it's partly selfish when people want to know what you are having, especially the pushy ones, but it's also out of excitement and because it's easier to buy gifts when you know if it will be a boy or girl. </p> <p>I didn't have a strong preference to wait to find out or not. I'm pretty impatient, so when the u/s tech got a good view, we decided to find out. A stranger with a newborn followed me around the baby clothes in Target ARGUING with me (before we knew what we were having!). It was so awkward and bizarre. She's like, "I know you want one or the other!" And I kept insisting that I didn't have a preference, their are pros and cons to both! She kept telling me that I was lying, that she knew I wanted one over the other.
