I use progesterone cream. It's my least favorite of the fertility meds I take (clomid, ovidrel, progesterone). I've used it for 6 cycles total - 2 of them were pregnancies that ended in miscarriages. One thing I learned is that you should forget about symptom spotting during your TWW. The progesterone causes a lot of pregnancy-like symptoms. I get sore boobs, mood-swings, and have to wake up multiple times each night to pee.

I did. I was charting before we TTC'd, and my charts revealed a Luteal Phase Defect. I made an appointment with a fertility specialist and we developed a plan. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I would start using PG cream and I would call the specialist's office and let them know. Then they would write a prescription for PD suppositories, which I would fill asap. Then we started to TTC and I got pregnant right away, and I was travelling for work when I tested positive. So I was REALLY glad that I had the cream and was able to use it for a week until I could get home and get my prescription filled. It worked; my son is now 1.
