my 9 month old's doctor has us coming in monthly for weight checks. Her weight plateaued starting from 6 months. but lactation consultants and everyone around me tell me not to worry and her weight is just fine. Her ped is just very cautious, which I like. No feeding therapy though... Her length and head circumference are growing... she has been really sick a few times though and lost weight so it's just been hard to get her back up to speed. She is also super active.

I haven't heard any comments. LO has gained weight each time we have gone. She has always been 25-50% weight and 90% height.

LO's always been in the 90th% for weight.. she dropped to the 75th% and our doctor said she's at a healthy weight.

@regberadaisy: But you can't do anything about their height, right? I have a friend who's LO had to go to feeding therapy. She just didn't like to eat.

My LO isn't here yet obviously. But my co-worker his son is undersized and the doctor has told them that he needs to put on some weight and is short as well. Their daughter is borderline.

My LO has consistantly been in the 95% for weight. I have a friend who's LO is teeny tiny, she was 10 lbs at 4 months, and at 6 months still wears newborn clothes. She always says the doctor says her LO is perfect, and my doctor always says my LO is perfect. I'm always worried that he'll say she's too much of a chunk! But she's clear about when she does and doesn't want to eat, and they say that babies don't eat when they're full.
