<description>&#60;p&#62;Mine did at 8 months for surgery (general anesthesia).  She could have BM until 4 hours before her surgery.  She did fine until I had to hand her over to the nurse to take her into the O.R.  Recovery was bumpy, but after we were discharged it has been nothing but smooth sailing.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Ellie did twice. Once for tonsilectomy/adenoidectomy and once for ear tubes. Both times were fairly recent (age five and age six). Her fasting was similar to @sarbear. The procedures went well both times. Recovery from the T/A was really rough. About a week of misery. But the tubes was easy peasy and she was back to normal right after the surgery. She was pretty grumpy and disoriented for a while after waking up both times. Lorelei never has.
