I run over and her entire mouth was blue. Apparently she has spit up silently and was choking on it and I had no idea. The next week a teacher dropped some kind of food on the floor and she ate it and they "weren't sure" if it had peanuts in it (DD has a peanut allergy). DD was 15 months, one time she choked on a rock that she'd brought in from the playground, the other time on a wheat thin - why they thought wheat thins were a good snack for that age is beyond me! It was bad. If not, do you feel confident that you would be able to help them?</p> <p>We've thankfully never had anything too bad, but we've had a few times where we felt like we had to move quickly to do a finger sweep in LO's mouth to clear things out before it got worse. Sometimes LOs can be such squirrels shoving stuff in their mouth lol. </p>
