My car has never been keyed, but my DH had a yellow car that was vandalized several times. I was driving home from Fort Worth late one night. Around 3am I was turning off a main road onto my street. I heard this really loud noise and thought I had been shot at. It turns out someone had thrown a rock at my car. Where I was turning was by railroad tracks. I think some teens were drunk and messing around. I'm lucky and the kids love me, but I teach in a bad area and there's a lot of crime. Plus I park in the back of the lot because I have to drop DS off so I get there late and its further away from the cameras. </p> <p>:-( @mrstiz heck no! That is one of my fears! Parking bad or taking someone's spot in a lot is asking for it with some of the crazies out there today! I was walking into Wal-Mart and two guys were hooting and hollering, I didn't respond because they weren't even using real words to try to pick me up and it was just weird to me. It was vandalized right in front of our house. DH and I park two cars on the street, one in front of the other. Some person decided to climb onto DH's car and jump onto the hood of my car, denting it pretty bad. You could see the footprints on both cars. I had to get the entire hood replaced. Then they keyed both my doors so the entire side of my car had to be repainted.
