I don't think I will return to it. I just have to figure out what I would rather do. My husband hasn't been hurt. He has actually received several promotions since we had kids. His Boss is awesome and very flexible so my husband has tons of time with the kids. I don't have as much time for "extra-curricular" or networking events. I don't work in as many hours in the evenings any more. I used to look down on people who couldn't do the extras but now I understand. I probably have put my next promotion a year or two off track. My company is very tolerant and understanding. I have cut back my hours - I used to work longer hours - now I just work 8 hours a day.
