When I was little (like 5 or 6) my mom locked herself out of our house. She could see me asleep through the front window and kept knocking to try and wake me up with no result. Eventually a teenaged neighbor saw her and asked if she'd like him to break into the house for her. She was both relieved and uncomfortable with how easily he accomplished it. :)

not yet, but our german shepherd has locked us out! We had to get a ladder and crawl through the 2nd floor window into the baby's room, where he was sleeping at the time. Scary!

Charlie loves to take my keys and he also loves to close the door. As you might imagine, this has resulted in some close calls where he takes my keys from me and then tries to close the door... the apartment building door autolocks, so that would be ruinous for me!!

Have you ever been locked out, or almost locked out? And if so, do you have another set of keys somewhere or would you have to call a locksmith?
