The 4s were great for us but as we got closer to 5 it's gotten worse. Lately we've actually had to have a lot of "no growling" talks... he literally growls and puts his fists up when he's frustrated or mad! The first time he did it we all laughed because we thought he was joking, and he totally lost it. Ugh.</p> <p>As for my 2 year old... she's just explosive. Not listening, throwing things, getting worked up really fast if I don't so what she wants me to or if she doesn't want to do what I ask her too. Also just generally going feral - running around like a crazed animal, and the other day she was nibbling on her sister's tried for no good reason?!? Eek. She is refusing to listen to me, eats as a ridiculously slow pace (30 min for 1/4 sandwich), doing things that she just saw her 2yo brother being reprimanded for, I can go on and on. My 2yo is only partial gremlin although his behaviors seem to be repeats of what he sees big sister doing. Last night was after his first day of preschool. He napped horribly there, still adjusting, etc. It was my turn to read to him. He hit the upper part of my belly. It's something he would never do. We didn't timeout him, but he came close. I'm hoping it was a tired response more than anything. She has generally been a Mogwai for most of her life, so sweet and cuddly and gentle. I feel like someone exposed her to water and fed her after midnight because she has turned into a Gremlin.</p> <p>She is not listening, hitting &amp; kicking, bedtime is Horrible with a capital H. Nothing has really changed in our lives. DH said he feels like we are living with ticking time bomb and we never know when she's going to blow. </p> <p>She's still cuddly, though. But I'm losing my mind right now. </p>
