But dh is a good dad and would do just fine if he had to, it just hasn't worked out that he's had to.. It's just that I SAH and when he is off we tend to do things together. When I got my new job I was up here during the week until we could all relocate, DH had J solo during the week for 5 months on his own! He's a pretty amazing dad...I give him a hard time but I never have to worry about J's well being when he's with him. Different families, different schedules, different needs. During Christmas break, I had to go into work because it had been too many days away from the office. DH stayed home with LO while I caught up on work. That was his first full day with LO. I've done a whole weekend plus with LO by myself. There's a bachelor party coming up, so I've got another long weekend with LO by myself in May. He's done all day solo and so have I. We of course prefer to parent together since it's a whole lot easier to have someone else who knows your child as well as you do help out, but we're both very comfortable doing the solo parenting. I'm a very lucky gal in that DH is so involved in LO's care! </p>
