@bluestriped bee: glad your LO is doing better!

LO rode in a helicopter at 3 weeks old when he needed to transfer to a bigger children's hospital. But no ambulance on the ground!

I know how that feels. When T was 5 months we took him to his ped because we thought he had a virus. His ped thought it was meningitis so they transported him by ambulance to the nearest children's hospital. It was traumatizing. He was buckled in his car seat and it was attached to the stretcher.

He ended up being fine but I still hate thinking about it. The whole experience and hospitalization was awful.

Luckily no, just two ER visits, but we drove.

DD has been in two ambulances when she was rushed to the local hospital from the urgent care I took her to two weeks ago for respiratory distress and tested positive for RSV. Then a few hours later was transferred to the Children's hospital because she needed a PICU.

You should have seen her 9 lb self on a big stretcher and hospital bed. :crying:

She is doing better now and was at CHOP for 5 days.
