Her mom is a teacher and she was in her classroom after school working and her daughter was just playing, so she gave her some art supplies that included safety scissors. Her mom left her alone for a few minutes and came back to half of her hair missing. Her mom was so upset and cried over it, and then took her to get her hair cut to fix it and cried because she had a boy haircut. Meanwhile I heard all of this before seeing her in person, and she looked adorable! DD got ahold of a pair of scissors at my parents' house but instead of her hair was apparently trying to cut her shirt (my mom found her and stopped her but there was a lot of ah-oh from my daughter while she had her shirt in the scissors).</p> <p>I was getting my hair done once and a grandmother brought in a little girl who was about 3 who had found some scissors and chopped off one of her pigtails. Apparently her mom was 9months pregnant and couldn't deal with it so grandma came to the rescue.
