With HFM both kids were MISERABLE with the fever. We had mild cases, too. Our round of HFM was not anything compared to yours. I didn't even know it was HFM until the fever was gone, that's when the bumps first appeared and only on their hands and bums then. I remember also last summer that one of them got a fever when he had an ear infection. We just finished four days of fever and in turned out to be a sinus infection. After giving him Tylenol, he was playing like normal but then when the medicine wore off 4 hours later, he was clingy and cranky again. This kept going on for 24 hours and then it was weird, he was completely back to normal after he woke up from a nap. Guess it was just some virus?
