My son got 2 in one week due to dry sinuses. It's so sad!! He wouldn't let me pinch his nose and he kept wiping his bloody nose with the back of his hand so there was blood EVERYWHERE. We finally put him on the stroller and reclined it back and took him for walk. After 10 minutes or so, it looked like the bleeding at stopped. It tried sticking tissue up his nose but of course he kept pulling it out.

@mrs. wagon: that's what happened the first time!!! he looked like carrie!
@chopsuey119: i don't know if i could get a piece of cotton to stay put in his tiny nostril...plus, i keep telling him to quit sticking things up his nose (i know, boys!), so i don't know if that would be confusing to him! hahaha!

Very sad. YES Wagon Jr. just woke up with his first nosebleed... lemme find the thread about it....

http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/first-nosebleed

I was lucky enough that the bleeding had stopped by the time I got there... but it looked like a horror movie... my poor poor baby!!!!!

I would definitely stick some cotton and try to get him to pinch it and tip his head forward...

lil' cb just woke up from his nap with his second nose bleed ever. his pillow was a mess and he was FREAKING out (so sad), but i think he was more in shock than anything else.

i can't figure out the best way to make the bleeding stop quickly without having him swallow a whole lot of blood from keeping his head back...keeping his head back was the only way i could get him to stay still (i was cradling him), but it seemed so uncomfortable!
