We did the ointment and it was better in a day or two! Two kids in his daycare had this week and I think we luckily avoided it! Phew. Hope she's better fast! Dd2 just had some goopy eyes accompanying her cold so we had to do an ointment. She also has an ear infection, and it's been super fun. She is taking an oral antibiotic instead of the drops. My little guy (11 months) has had the crusty goopy eyes a few times and we thought for sure it was pink eye, turns out it usually signals an ear infection for him. Our ped thinks he is the kind of kid that gets sickness through his eyes. Her eyes were all teary, red, and crusty.</p> <p>We got ger in at the doc who diagnosed pink eye almost instantly. They also said she had an ear infection. She also was running a fever.</p> <p>She is usually a totally sound sleeper, but last night she was up several times. I could tell she was miserable since she didn't even want to be held, she was just too uncomfortable to sleep soundly.</p> <p>She seems almost back to normal today, except for a super runny nose. I'm glad the antibiotics work so quickly. </p> <p>She's 2.5 and I'm honestly surprised it took this long to catch pink eye since it goes around at school a lot.</p> <p>What were your experiences? </p>
