She had it on at daycare when I picked her up and I was like "okay give Julie back her bracelet" and Julie was like "ummmm she pulled that out of her coat pocket and has carried it around all day." She takes things from daycare, friends houses, my parents house. We come home and find the weirdest things in her bag or her pockets. It was just in a bowl by the register so I took a piece. I think I was associating it with the candy at the doctor's office or bank, which is free. Though what sticks out in my memory is that my mom was SO pissed and wouldn't listen to me when I tried to explain that I just didn't know it wasn't free. Which still kind of annoys me. I think that's super cute!<br /> I have a friend who's child grabbed a chocolate bar in a store once and my friend didn't notice she had it until she was putting her in the car. My friend went inside and paid for it. </p> <p>When I was young, maybe 5 or 6, I remember being at home and finding a toy in my pocket from daycare. I was terrified I was going to get in trouble for stealing, I knew it was very bad. I brought it with me the next day and hid it among some other toys, hoping no one would notice haha. This morning she was holding a random rubber panda (a smallish figurine). </p> <p>I tired to ask her where she got it from and she just looked at me like I was ridiculous haha! (She is 20 months.)</p> <p>Anyhow, I knew DH didn't purchase anything yesterday and I asked him about it. Just really weird and I am wondering if she might have grabbed it somewhere? It just appeared as if out of her toy bin but I have definitely never seen it before and DH has no idea what I am talking about. He thinks he would have noticed if she grabbed it from a store.</p> <p>Mystery yet to be solved. Has your LO ever appeared with a random toy? Has your LO ever accidentally stolen before they knew better? (If that's what happened we'll return or pay for it.) </p>
