My DD had her first drop off play date come over without the friend's parent present recently and she's 5.. </p> <p>And that play date was arranged between the kids before parents and parents followed up haha :-). He told me he heard from his son that my son invited his son to our house to play. I thought that was so cute. I am actually really thrilled that this happened because my son has always been rather timid among his peers. The fact that he initiated a playdate all on his own means he's starting to break out of his shell. I like the parents too so I think it'll be fun when we do set it up. </p>
