We live a few blocks from the US border, so she's been to the states a lot. We pop across just to fill up on gas and buy groceries.

We also took a Caribbean cruise when she was 9 months old.

Yes, we are in the car coming home from a trip to Israel now. But I will never do that flight with him again until he is able to walk and carry his own bag, no car seat, no stroller, no assload of snacks and baby crap.
He's also done Grand Cayman and Mexico.

Yes! Both kids have been to Canada and Thailand. In the US though we've done: Hawaii, Alaska, California, Texas, and New York, plus a couple states we can drive to. We live in NC. Kids are 2.5 and 14 months and we hope to travel a lot more with them.

Yes, internationally to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Next up is hopefully Guatemala and Belize. We are sticking with beach trips until he gets older (and can hopefully handle the time change better) and then hope to take him to Europe.

LOL I answered "yes but only to Canada." And only DD1 has been there.

We're hoping to take them to Japan soonish, but want them to be old enough to remember it a little. My grandpa had this weird idea kids shouldn't travel before around 12 or they won't remember it. I went to Europe for the first time at 11, and I only remember some of the trip, so I guess he was kind of right-- though I think kids learn plenty from things they may not remember exactly, and we won't wait that long to travel with our DDs.

No. Food allergies scare me, and we have only traveled by car (up and down the east coast). We are invited to a wedding in Australia and would love to attend. The logistics of accommodating their food allergies internationally is boggling my mind. Would love to bring them to Hong Kong one day... maybe when LO2 outgrows some allergies.

Yes. She's gone mostly to the Caribbean (primarily to visit my family), Central America, and Canada. Her sleep is super wonky, so we have not been brave enough to cross time zones, but that's okay because it's forced us to consider and travel to more of Latin America. She's a creature of habit, but for some reason, she is a great traveler.

Not yet, because the logistics of it stress me out. Car seats, time zones, pack n plays, etc. Bleh. Our 3 year old is just now to the point where I think she would do great, but now we have a newborn again. Once he's potty trained I'd like to take them to Europe. Until then we'll probably just stick with US travel. This year we already have trips planned to FL, NJ, and TX, so the kids do get to travel a lot, just not internationally

DD1 has been all over the world (at least 8 countries I an think of)....DD2's only international trip was the move from Asia to the US. Poor girl is the epitome of second child syndrome - this summer will be her first "real" family vacation (somewhere other than to visit family) and her first "real" trip to the beach - good thing DD1 wasn't old enough on her trips for the girls to really compare notes!

Ha, same. She's been to Canada a whole bunch, but it feels like it should hardly count, because we are less than 5 miles from the border.

We frequently say that it is so dumb that Canada and the US are two countries over here. It would be so much more convenient if they weren't. I once had to cross the border because I made a wrong turn, and the border guard wouldn't let me turn around. SO. DUMB. I was late to daycare because I had to go across the f**king bridge. //rant over

Someday, we will get across the pond with her ☺
