@autumnlove: Ha, I know. I was actually going out to dinner with friends and was getting ready while my husband was feeding the kids. I walked in as my husband was getting my daughter down to see my son fall. Blood is always upsetting, but I have learned that mouth cuts bleed a lot, but also stop quickly!

Twice, with the same booster.

The first time was my fault...when we get home he would immediately climb into the chair and sit for dinner, and I would fasten the belt (no tray). That evening my hands were full and I was setting things down before I fastened it. He was sitting happily, and I turned around for a second and then everything was on the floor. I assume he shifted or tried to stand up or something.

The second time happened a few days later, and he was definitely fastened in. I think that time he kicked backwards from the table.

He was okay both times...a bruise from the second time, but that was it. I stopped using the booster that night, though, and now he sits in a regular chair and eats at the table.

@Ocean girl: We still use the tray. She was using a Graco booster without a tray btw 18-24 months but wanted a tray again when her baby sister started solids :-p

Ah! We have this booster and use it when we visit friends/family or go out to restaurants.

@autumnlove: I hope LO is alright! Quick question - were you using it with or without the tray? We still use the tray for DD (she's almost 10 months) so I'm wondering of this is more of a concern now or when she's bigger and we use it as a booster seat only.

Yeah, Olivia almost flipped her FP space saver high chair. She pushed off the table. We use the tray now away from the table except for coloring and I sit right next to her. Scary!!

I hope E is ok today :(

Our first trip to the ER was thanks to that fisher price booster! LO was strapped in and she pushed against the table, tipping the chair the booster was in backwards; she went crashing to the floor. not the fault of the booster; but we switched to a high chair and still have her in it!

@autumnlove: that must have been so scary, for you and LO! How awful! C is in a hook on chair and we haven't had any issues so far but she is still very young. The weight limit on her chair is 35 lbs- I would think 27 would still be fine. The whole chair tipped, not just the booster, right? Do you have any wider lower chairs?

We don't usually use a booster, but my 3 year old still fell off his chair, banged his lip on the table and also ended up with a bloody cut and fat lip. Parents can't win!

We have the same booster. It never tipped on D. I hope it won't with M. Does yours have straps to secure it to the chair?

I hope she feels better!

@autumnlove: Yeah we have the blue/green one with a little different tray! I usually face her to the table and I guess if it were to get to the point of tipping it would have a chance at catching on the table? I'm not sure. Our chairs are pretty low/steady/wide. Maybe it's the chair it was on? Was it tight enough? The reason I mentioned the seat belt is to keep her from getting the momentum to pull the chair down, although she sounds pretty darn strong!

As for my lo..in a word.. yes. :P

You LO is going to age you...lol! She definitely sounds like a daredevil.

This is our booster!

No, and we have the same one! If you use the seatbelt maybe tighten it. Or just put her closer to the table maybe? Hopefully it was just a freak one time occurrence.

So she hasn't fallen off of the booster seat but she did a) fall off of a kitchen chair (not very far) and bump her head (no bump) today, and b) fall about a foot off of something at the park yesterday, which resulted in a black eye that looks so sad. My lo is a daredevil and must fall off of something every day, mainly from looking at one thing and moving in another direction. And our place is babyproof. She'll fall six inches and manage to scrape herself or get a bruise. :/

My toddler was strapped into her Fisher Price booster seat tonight when she tried to grab something off her sister's high chair tray. Her chair tipped over and she banged her face on the floor. She is ok but there was a lot of blood, tears and screaming involved and she will have a fat lip tomorrow! :-(

Maybe my LO is too big for a booster? She is 2.5 and weighs 27ish lbs! Has this ever happened to your LO?
