A few weeks back, we had my mum for dinner and the inevitable "you're going to put me in a home, haha" conversation came up (us Brits have dark senses of humour!). Anyway, DH replies "No I wont, don't be silly, I've already bought you a one way ticket to Switzerland". My mum didn't get the Dignitas (assisted dying organisation) reference and asked why it was a one way ticket. DH replied "Well we're not paying to fly your body back, they can mail your ashes back in an envelope. Second class". Well, I almost spat my drink out!! It was so funny but so, so wrong!! My mum hasn't spoken to him since!! It was semi-quiet, aside from the instructor speaking.
