yup he's really invovled. he comes to most of my appts (i have a bunch bc i am high risk) right now i go 3 times a week to the drs, sometimes 4 so he cant amke them all because of work but he tries to be at alot of them. in the beginning, he did all my lovenox shots for me (now ive learned to do them myself) he also is always getting me things, feeding me and the baby (his words lol) he picked up alot of the household chores. and like running elly, always consoling me and telling me that our baby will be ok. he's my personal therapist.

I'm at 10 weeks and I think for him it doesn't feel very tangible yet. He comes to appointments, but hasn't done as much research/reading yet as I would like him to. On the other hand, I've been feeling quite awful with morning sickness and headaches and tiredness and he's been really great about being supportive, making an effort to upbeat and positive and cleaning up the kitchen when I can't even fathom lifting a finger because I feel so crappy. So he's doing his part.

He comes to most of my appointments, the only ones that he’s missed have been due to work. He has been a HUGE support to me so far. During the first tri I had to have biweekly progesterone in oil shots and he gave each one to me even though he has a weak stomach. He’s picked up my prescriptions, taken me to get blood drawn and just him telling me that the baby is going to make it and be okay helps me immensely.

Eh...he's only missed one appointment (during my 3-hr GD test) but he would have been there had I not told him to go home so he didn't have to sit there with me for so long.

He likes listening to Bebe's heartbeat with our stethoscope, and talks and reads to Bebe a lot. He hasn't read any of the pregnancy books I bought him, but always pays attention when I tell him what's going on with me and the Bebe. And he really enjoyed our childbirth classes, and has been trying to use some of the relaxation/massage techniques on me now, and practicing different types of breathing with me.

Yeah he was really involved!! He came to as many appts as he can, but since the birth center was 45 min away he couldn't come to any of the weekday appts. We made as many weekend appts as possible so he could come.

He also read books with me too! He was just as interested in what was going on inside me as I was. He LOVED feeling Cobi kick and move around. In fact, he felt with me the FIRST time Cobi ever moved! He was poking my stomach for fun (I was only 14 weeks) and all of a sudden we felt a little flip, both of us. It was so cool to share that moment with him.

He also was a huge support. During the first trimester and beginning of second I was in bed most of the time from intense morning sickness, so he picked up all the cooking/cleaning and would often go out of his way to try and prepare meals that didn't make me gag.

He gave me massages all the time too! That helped so much because I had awful back pain starting from 6 weeks until birth basically.

I couldn't have done it without him.

He comes to my appointments and I'm sure will be a big help in setting up the nursery. He'll come to classes and such. He might also read some books. He's a big emotional support to me, but I'm not expecting him to download any apps or anything.

DH comes to most of my appointments when he can, alhtough lately he hasn't been able to get away from work. I do wish he would read up a little more so it's not such a shock, but he's been willing to do things when I ask him.

Hubs has come to almost every appointment with me (he missed one that was a last minute thing because I had some cramping). He's also reading a book for expectant fathers. And reads the what to expect app we have on our iPad.

We're only 11 weeks in, so so far I think Hubs is still a little bit disconnected. He's come to my one appointment and is coming to the 2nd. And he always wants to know the weekly updates on baby's progress. I think after our next appointment, it'll start to sink in. He definitely plans to read books and stuff, I think he's just not quite convinced it's real yet.

Yes, DH was super involved! He went to a lot of appointments, downloaded the BabyCenter and What to Expect app, got the nursery ready, started her college and wedding funds, purchased and read Baby Bargains, Baby 411 and other books!

DH has come with me to most of my appts, and keeps up to date on his weekly pregnancy ipad apps and is reading a book he bought from b&n.

I count my HB as my reading a real book. LOL.
