I'd been with an ex for 4 years and I'd broken up with him (after he cheated on me, might I add) and had started kind of seeing a guy I worked with who this ex was super jealous of anyway. This ex and I was doing the "staying friends" thing (it never works!!)... Anyway, the work guy and I had been out to our work's Christmas party and went to a club afterwards. Well, the ex was there. We'd all had too many drinks and long story short the ex started kicking off with work-guy (he was a bit scrappy). Work guy was super gentlemanly usually but that night he said "Right, I've had enough of you - outside". A big fight happened and I shouted "right, this is ridiculous, I'm walking away from both of you" and tottered down the street to get a taxi. While I was trying to hale a taxi, another guy came up and gave me his phone number!!! Gasp! I must have been hot stuff that night!!!
