She nursed like normal (well probably a little more) when I came back and I still made plenty of milk. I do have to say I got really emotional after being away, my hormones went crazy from letting myself get too full and my body thinking I was going through a quick wean. Your body will adapt. I have had several overnights away from LO and it never impacted my supply. Also, I day weaned my LO for the work week but nursed on the weekends for several months . . . it took a couple of weeks to even out, but it did even out.
