I only smoked when I was around other's who did or when I was having a few drinks, so luckily I never went through withdrawls, as I was more of a social smoker.. Both of my IL's still smoke, and do around my son (only outside) and it still drives me crazy. DH was exposed to it from his mom, aunt, and uncle as a teen/adult. Our neighbors smoke (duplex) and the smell comes through the walls. That alone is enough to drive me out of the house. My Dad was a really good bowler, so therefore my brother and I began bowling at a very early age and continued until we went to college. My parents never smoked (neither did I), but DH's parents smoke pretty heavily.
